OUR MISSION

At Eleven Percent Streetwear, our immediate mission is to save lives.

When winter hits, it becomes a matter of survival for people experiencing homelessness. Every year, lives are lost because basic essentials like warm jackets, gloves, socks, and sleeping bags aren’t available to those who need them most.

We work directly in the community to distribute winter gear where it's needed. Through our outreach efforts and support from our customers, we’re helping people stay warm, stay safe, and stay alive.

beyond winter

Addressing the Root Causes

Homelessness doesn’t end when the snow melts, and neither does our work.
We believe that to create lasting change, we have to go deeper. To the root causes of homelessness. That means talking about and supporting solutions for mental health struggles, addiction, trauma, and systemic barriers that keep people stuck.

Through outreach, awareness, and collaboration, we aim to do more than meet immediate needs. We want to be part of real, long-term impact.

Even outside the winter months, we stay active in the community. Supporting, listening, and showing up in ways that matter. Because homelessness is not just a season. And neither is compassion.

how it all started

The idea for Eleven Percent Streetwear came from a moment that stuck.

One winter morning, while on his way to school, founder Darwin Campbell heard a news story on the radio: two people from the homeless community had been found frozen to death somewhere in Canada.

It wasn’t the first time something like that had happened, but hearing it that day hit differently. It sparked a question—why does this keep happening, and what can be done about it?

That moment became the starting point. Over time, it grew into a mission: to create something that could raise awareness, give back directly, and help prevent tragedies like that from continuing.

meet the founder

Darwin Campbell is the founder and owner of Eleven Percent Streetwear, an Ottawa-based brand he launched in 2018. With a deep-rooted passion for streetwear, entrepreneurship, and community service, Darwin set out to build something that was more than just a clothing line. His vision was to create a brand with purpose—one that directly contributes to saving lives and sparking change.
Through Eleven Percent, Darwin has combined his love for design and fashion with a relentless drive to tackle homelessness and give back to those who are often overlooked. His commitment to outreach, mental health advocacy, and hands-on support has shaped the foundation of the brand and continues to influence everything it does.

We’re not just building a brand. We’re building a movement.

One rooted in compassion, driven by action, and focused on real change.

It all started with a simple question: “How can I make a real difference?”
